This week, creation of a new tsuboniwa at “NIWAKI Inspiration ZEN” Academy, with two trainees, Therese coming from Martinique and faithful to the academy for many years in hortitherapy – Niwatherapy©, and Peter, newcomer, from Germany.
With an infinite pleasure, once again, I have taught the art of the garden following the ancient writings of the Sakutei-ki, energy principles of fuusui, as well as concepts specific to the Japanese landscape aesthetics… A moment of fulfillment out of the ordinary, for me as for her, given the feedback I have been fortunate to have…
This tiny spot of greenery between heaven and earth is obviously a tsuboniwa, but especially a tsukubai or purification place of tea garden, in the famous chaniwa, here, a little roji.
This tsukubai in particular has been assembled according to the rules of the Urasenke tea School, as Peter is a student. He also had the nice touch to offer us to close this week of course, a small non-formal spring ceremony with friends or chabako demae 茶箱点前, taking place with a tea box from which it draws its name, and a flower-shaped tray.
Ichi-go, ichi-e… un nice moment !
Makes you feel at peace just looking at these pictures… thanks !
